Don't let the haters get you down. I had a poor experience with RPG Maker forums and I stayed away since that time. Improve your skills and you will leap miles ahead from those who looked down on you. But even then, don't let those thoughts consume you, it'll make your day worse than it is. So, keep your mind clear and enjoy the time you can spend with making a good life for your game and yourself. Be humble and life will be humble back.
I find it hilarious that you are getting downvoted although you said nothing offensive. The people attacking Salik and his fans aren't interested in games, they are interested in getting political.
