Of course you know I streamed your game since you were present for the entire stream, but as a courtesy I always leave a comment on the game's store page to help summarize my thoughts in a more coherent manner since my unfiltered spoken word is often inelegant, stuttery, and drowned in alcohol.
Overall, you always excel at presentation, and unlike my experience with False Server, I found the writing more intriguing. The downside is that this game is short and really is more of an interactive narrative and less of a game since there are not even branching paths in such a short game. As a result, it's tough to make a definitive opinion on the game, especially when it's slated to be part of a series that unfortunately seems to be a long ways away from being complete.
If you want to rewatch my stream (or if you are not the dev and just a casual reader checking the comments) you can click the link below. You can use the time stamps to skip to when I play your game.
And super happy you played through, and gave me an opportunity to promote this game. As False Mercy ACT I is sort a "required play" for the next game I'll be releasing.
Played it! Your writing is still great even for a 10 mins game. And as I mentionned before the atmosphere is on point, good choice of bgm's, too! One thing I noticed though, green-haired blind guy and redhead girl aren't breathing in the last scene.
THAT... was a technical issue. I was putting in the plugin command to make them breathe, but they wouldn't. I skipped fixing it because the submission period (for the game jam) was about to end.
(Also, Thank you so much for playing & for commenting about it!)

Hello Nolan,
I'm glad you found the writing intriguing.
And super happy you played through, and gave me an opportunity to promote this game. As False Mercy ACT I is sort a "required play" for the next game I'll be releasing.

Haha, thank you!
Really good atmosphere creation, very adequate music selections and an interesting story!
Congratulations, man!

Thank you for playing, and for your kind words!
This was an amazing play. Nice!
Happy to hear that Julian. Thank you!
Will there be an ACT II soon?
It COULD take a while. Probably a few months.
I ended up picking up a different project and want to finish it up before coming back to this one.
So yeah... I'm sorry for jumping ships, and not immediately following up on this project. ( ̄~ ̄;)
That's honestly fine! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Thank you! Thank you for words.
It's very encouraging to hear that.

Ah, you caught that... very perceptive of you.
